Father, Your Kingdom has come, Christ is Risen! (Troverete il testo in albanese in fondo alla pagina) 

Christ is Risen! This is the great news that greeted the women when they went to the tomb early on Sunday morning. They were wondering how they would move the stone blocking their access to the body of Jesus, yet when they arrived the stone had already been moved and the tomb was empty! They were welcomed by an angel who told them, ‘You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ (Mk 16:6-7)

Christ is Risen! This is the basic truth of our faith, without which our faith would be empty and without hope. It is the kernel of the Good News who is Jesus himself, the source of the joy of the Gospel in a world beset by all sorts of suffering and selfishness. As the Easter sequence says, Death and life have contended in that wonderful combat; the prince of life, who died, reigns immortal.

The women were told that the Risen Jesus was not where they expected him to be but in Galilee, the place of their normal activity. For us too, the Risen Jesus is no longer in the tomb, nor in the Temple, nor in church, but in our Galilee, in our everyday life, in my family, at my place of work, my believing community, my political world.  After the Resurrection, it is only the Risen Christ that exists, and he will live for ever in his new life.

His prayer to the Father, Your kingdom come! has been answered fully in his Resurrection. The Kingdom has really and full come in his Risen person. He now shares his victory – I have overcome the world – and his new life with us through our baptism: it is where we receive the Spirit that makes us sons and daughters of the Father, that spirit that has already overcome death and injustice in Jesus.

In us too, our prayer is answered as the kingdom grows as a small but powerful seed that will never be overcome by evil, however powerful it looks. At the same time, we realise that we too have our part to play in its coming.

Christ is Risen! Let us rejoice and be glad.

Cristo è risorto! Gioiamo ed esultiamo!

Cristo è risorto! Questa è la grande buona notizia che ha accolto le donne quando sono andate alla tomba all’alba della domenica. Esse si stavano domandando come avrebbero rimosso la pietra che bloccava l’accesso al corpo di Gesù, ma quando sono arrivate la pietra era già stata rimossa e la tomba era vuota! Sono state accolte da un angelo che ha detto loro: ‘Voi state cercando Gesù il Nazareno, che è stato crocefisso. Lui è risorto! Non è qui. Ecco il luogo dove lo hanno deposto. Ma andate , dite ai discepoli e a  Pietro: ‘Lui vi precede in Galilea. Là lo vedrete, proprio come vi ha detto.’ (Mc 16,6-7)

Cristo è risorto! Questa è la verità fondamentale della nostra fede, senza la quale la nostra fede sarebbe vuota e senza speranza. E’ il nocciolo della Buona Notizia che è Gesù stesso, la fonte della gioia del Vangelo in un mondo  assediato da ogni tipo di sofferenza ed egoismo. Come dice la sequenza pasquale: Morte e vita si sono affrontate in un duello straordinario; il principe della vita che era morto ora regna immortale.

Alle donne è stato detto che il Risorto, Gesù, non era dove loro si aspettavano, ma in Galilea, il luogo delle loro normali attività. Anche per noi Gesù Risorto non è più nella tomba, né nel Tempio, né in chiesa, ma nella nostra Galilea, nella nostra vita di ogni giorno: nella mia famiglia, nel mio posto di lavoro, nella mia comunità di credenti, nel mio mondo politico. Dopo la Resurrezione, solo il Cristo Risorto esiste e vivrà per sempre nella sua nuova vita.

La sua preghiera al Padre “Venga il tuo Regno!” è stata esaudita pienamente nella sua Resurrezione. Il Regno è davvero e pienamente venuto nella sua persona di Risorto. Egli ora condivide la sua vittoria – Io ho vinto il mondo  – e la sua nuova vita con noi grazie al nostro battesimo, in cui riceviamo lo Spirito che ci rende figli e figlie del Padre, quello stesso Spirito che ha già vinto la morte e l’ingiustizia in Gesù.

Anche in noi la nostra preghiera è esaudita, dal momento che il Regno cresce come un seme piccolo ma potente che non verrà mai sopraffatto dal male, per quanto potente esso possa sembrare. Allo stesso tempo ci rendiamo conto che anche noi abbiamo il nostro ruolo da giocare per la sua venuta.

Atë, Mbretëria jote erdhi, Krishti u ngjall!

Krishti u ngjall! Ky është lajmi i madh që i priti gratë kur shkuan në varr herët në mëngjesin e së dielës. Ato po mendonin se si do ta lëviznin gurin që I bllokonte hyrjen e tyre tek trupi i Jezusit, por kur arritën, guri tashmë ishte I zhvendosur dhe varri ishte bosh! Ato u pritën nga një engjëll që u tha: ‘Ju kërkoni Jezusin prej Nazaretit, të  Kryqëzuarin. Ai u ngjall, nuk është ketu! Qe vendi ku e patën vënë. Shkoni dhe thoni nxënësve të tij, veçanërisht Pjetrit: Po shkon para jush në Galile, Atje do ta shihni, sikur u pat thënë. ‘(Mk 16: 6-7)

Krishti u ngjall! Kjo është e vërteta themelore e besimit tonë, pa të cilën besimi ynë do të ishte bosh dhe pa shpresë. Është bërthama e Lajmit të Mirë, i cili është vetë Jezusi, burimi i gëzimit të Ungjillit në një botë të mbuluar nga të gjitha llojet e vuajtjeve dhe egoizmit. Siç thotë periudha e Pashkëve, vdekja dhe jeta kanë luftuar në atë luftë të mrekullueshme; princi i jetës, i cili vdiq, mbretëroi i pavdekshëm.

Grave u tha se Jezusi i Ngjallur nuk ishte aty ku pritej që të ishte, por në Galile, vendi i veprimtarisë së tyre normale. Për ne gjithashtu, Jezusi i Ngjallur nuk është më në varr, as në Tempull, as në kishë, por në Galilenë tonë, në jetën tonë të përditshme, në familjen time, në vendin tim të punës, në komunitetin tim besimtar, në botën time politike . Pas Ringjalljes, është vetëm Krishti i Ngjallur që ekziston dhe ai do të jetojë përgjithmonë në jetën e tij të re.

Lutja e tij ndaj Atit, ardhtë mbretëria jote! është përgjigjur plotësisht në Ringjalljen e tij. Mbretëria ka ardhur me të vërtetë dhe plotësisht në personin e tij të ringjallur. Ai tani ndan fitoren e tij – “unë e kam kapërcyer botën” – dhe jetën e tij të re me ne nëpërmjet pagëzimit tonë: është vendi ku ne marrim Shpirtin që na bën bij dhe bija të Atit, atë Shpirt që tashmë e ka kapërcyer vdekjen dhe padrejtësinë ndaj Jezusit.

Edhe te ne , lutja jonë përgjigjet si mbretëria që rritet si një farë e vogël por e fuqishme që kurrë nuk do të mbizotërohet nga e keqja, sado e fuqishme duket. Në të njëjtën kohë, ne e kuptojmë se edhe ne kemi pjesën tonë për të luajtur në ardhjen e tij.

Krishti u ngjall! Le të gëzohemi!
